Privacy policy
This policy describes how Mark Ahead (also known as SocialMediaBot or social_media_bot) handles information through its website and employee-operated YouTube content workflow. For privacy questions, contact uday.oninternet@gmail.com.
Who uses the application
Mark Ahead currently connects only company-owned Google and YouTube accounts used by company employees. Employees use company-owned accounts; personal employee accounts are outside the application’s current scope. It is an internal company workflow, not a public account-connection service. Company ownership does not remove the protections described in this policy. Employees can contact the operator about their account connection and privacy rights.
Google and YouTube connections
Mark Ahead uses YouTube API Services to identify a connected channel and upload videos to it. Google handles account authentication and asks for your permission on its OAuth consent screen. Mark Ahead does not ask for or store your Google password.
Information accessed and stored
- Channel information: the connected channel’s identifier, name, and channel information returned by YouTube.
- OAuth credentials: access tokens, refresh tokens, expiry information, and granted permissions. Refresh tokens let the app maintain an authorised connection without asking you to sign in for every operation.
- Publishing information: video files supplied for upload, titles, descriptions, visibility settings, upload identifiers, and publishing status.
- Research information: public YouTube channel and video metadata, including titles, descriptions and available statistics, when content research is used.
- Operational information: channel identifiers, timestamps, errors and job information used to operate the workflow; enquiries you send to our contact email.
Purpose and permissions
The youtube.readonly permission supports reading YouTube information, including identifying the connected channel. The youtube.upload permission supports sending videos and their publication settings to YouTube. We use the connection to perform the content and publishing operations you authorise. This integration does not request Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or calendar access.
Storage and sharing
Channel metadata and OAuth credentials are stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Workflow files and operational records are processed on the operator’s infrastructure and Google Cloud services. The public company website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes requests needed to serve and protect it. Video files and publication metadata are sent to YouTube when an upload is run; their visibility follows the selected YouTube setting.
Access to Google account data is limited to operating the authorised features, consented support, security investigations, and legal obligations. We do not sell Google user data or use it for personalised advertising, data brokerage, or credit decisions.
Google API Limited Use
Mark Ahead’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Use of Google account data to train or improve general-purpose AI or machine-learning models is prohibited. OAuth credentials must not be included in AI prompts. Any additional AI processing of Google account data requires a clear disclosure of the provider and purpose and the employee’s consent before transfer; this policy does not authorise undisclosed transfers. Human access is limited to your affirmative consent for specific support needs, security investigations, applicable legal requirements, or permitted aggregated internal operations.
Retention and deletion
OAuth credentials are retained only while needed for an active, authorised connection. Stored YouTube API metadata is refreshed or deleted within 30 days; statistics retained under an applicable YouTube exception are subject to the required continuing-authorisation checks. After access is revoked, associated authorised YouTube data is removed as soon as possible and within 30 days.
To request deletion of your stored connection, tokens, and associated app data, email uday.oninternet@gmail.com with the subject “Mark Ahead data deletion” and identify the channel. Do not send your password or tokens. We may verify control of the channel before processing the request. Stored YouTube user data is deleted as soon as possible and within seven calendar days of the request. Deleting app-held data does not delete videos or other information on YouTube; manage those in YouTube or YouTube Studio.
Revoke access at any time
You can remove Mark Ahead’s access through Google Account permissions. Revocation stops future authorised access but does not itself remove app-held records. You can also email us to request deletion.
Website visits and contact
The company website has no advertising trackers, account registration, or Google sign-in. Its hosting provider may process IP addresses and technical request information. Email enquiries are used to receive and respond to your request. Separate application sessions may use authentication technology needed to operate the app.
Protection and your choices
Google authentication takes place on Google’s pages. Keep your account credentials private and revoke access if you no longer want a connection. Requests to access, correct or delete information, and privacy complaints, can be sent to uday.oninternet@gmail.com.
Related policies and updates
Google and YouTube handle information under the Google Privacy Policy. Use of YouTube is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service. We will update this policy when our data practices change and show the latest revision date above. New uses requiring consent will be explained before that use begins.
